Job Description
Bandsaw Operator/General Labour (#417768)
Our client in East Hamilton is looking for a General Labour for a temporary placement (next 3-4 weeks)
A large portion of the work will include removing steel parts from steel sheets cut by a lazer. You will also be operating a horizontal band saw and abrasive cut-off saw.
There is alot of job rotation in this role as they are busy and looking for someone who is well organized, work well in a team, punctual and there to get the job done!
Advantages

Monday-Friday
Straight days: 7am – 3:30pm
Paid weekly – $12/hour
4% vacation pay
Qualifications
Previous experience operating a bandsaw
Ability to read a tape measure (working with fractions)
Comfortable working in a machine shop environment
Be efficient, productive and be able to work in a fast paced environment
Comfortably lift 50 lbs, and be able to bend and kneel
