Position Summary:
Reporting to the Store Manager the Driver is responsible for the delivery of automotive parts to customers in a timely and safe manner while maintaining the integrity of the brand by providing a high level of customer service.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Customer Delivery and pickup of automotive parts utilizing company vehicle
Providing excellent customer service to all PartSource customers
Ensuring that every PartSource customer has enjoyed their overall experience by delivering efficient and friendly service
Inspecting the company vehicle daily and reporting any necessary repairs required to maintain the safety and integrity of the company vehicle
Maintaining order integrity by verifying parts being delivery is accurately captured on the Invoice
Following store procedures relating to loss prevention
Assisting with filling, stocking, and other merchandising tasks
Assisting in maintaining store organization and cleanliness
Ensuring compliance to all appropriate Health & Safety legislation and corporate Health & Safety Policy
Using personal protective equipment – Mandatory: certified safety shoes, reflective safety vest, hands free cellular telephone device
Adhering to the Motor Vehicle Act
Maintaining good driving record
Requirements:
Possession of a valid driver’s license
Available for shifts 7 days per week including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
Ability to sit for up to 8 hours per shift (in automobile)
Capable of lifting and moving merchandise up to and including 50lbs for up to 8 hours per Shift
Experience delivering a high level of customer service
Positive friendly, professional, and outgoing personality
Detail oriented
Assets:
Automotive parts aftermarket knowledge & experience an asset
