Talentcor, a division of Design Group Staffing is currently recruiting an experienced Warehouse Clerk on the behalf of our client for a temporary assignment. In this role the
Warehouse Clerk is responsible for the following:
Selecting stock according to store order sheet and record quantities selected
Maintain established guidelines for stock selection with respect to productivity and accuracy
Perform assigned tasks to maintain a clean and safe working environment i.e sweeping, cleaning up cardboard etc
Build pallets of selected stock
Operate motorized equipment i.e powered pallet truck, forklift, power jacks etc.
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse experience with loading and unloading trucks, picking and wrapping orders, and operating motorized equipment is preferred
Forklift experience is an asset
Must be in good physical shape to lift up to 50lbs
Basic skills and knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel
Must be able to adhere to all safety rules and practices designed to ensure safety of operations and condition of stock
Must be dependable and reliable
