Full-Time Delivery Driver in Winnipeg
Job Description
Talentcor is currently recruiting for Service Representatives (Delivery Drivers). This position is based in Winnipeg.
Accountabilities:
Responsible for on time, accurate delivering of food service products to customers on a daily basis.
Conduct routine truck inspections to ensure health and safety requirements are met.
Ensure all products are delivered on time from the warehouse to the customers as required.
Deliver products to customers by a specified route and time schedule.
Sort and load all products from the truck and hand-wheel into the customer locations with occasional use of stairs depending on customer location.
Verify product accuracy with customers at locations.
Maintain records of delivery routes, temperature logs, count sheets, truck information and customer invoices.
Follow all client’s policies and procedures including all health and safety regulations.
Provide exceptional service to customers.
Qualifications and skills required:
Minimum Grade 12 with High School diploma.
Minimum Class 5 License with Air Brake Certification (Class 1 License preferred).
Must have good communications, mathematical and writing skills.
Should have good knowledge of the city.
Should be self-motivated, punctual, energetic and able to work with people of all levels.
Must be in good physical condition with ability to lift, push, pull and carry items up to 25 kg.
Able to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
Working Conditions:
Driving of the truck to location- 20%
Physical handling of the product- 70%
Customer Service-5%
Administration/Paper work- 5%
