Position and Scope
The Vacuum Truck Operator position is responsible to perform a very diverse range of activities within the Envirotec Vacuum Truck and Industrial Services department including: hazardous waste loading and hauling, confined space entry, hazardous materials spill cleanup, car wash interceptor pit cleaning, sewage loading and hauling and hydro-excavating.
Key Accountabilities of the position include:
1. Loading, unloading, hauling liquids and waste
2. Daily equipment pre-trips and logs required for safety and service schedules
3. Minor maintenance and cleaning of assigned vehicle
4. Customer service including direct contact with customers and the public
5. Detailed, accurate completion of transportation and ESI documentation to accompany work performed
6. Participate in Envirotec’s safety programs including safety meetings, last minute risk assessments, job hazard assessments
Skills and Competencies
> 1A or 3A Saskatchewan Drivers License
> Clean drivers abstract
> Customer service experience
> Self-motivated
