Position: Project Administrator
Location: Ottawa
Job Type: 4-month contract
Our government client is looking for a Project Administrator for a 4-month contract in Ottawa. Candidates must have a secret clearance and a valid driver’s license.
In the role of Project Administrator, you will undertake the planning, organization, interpretation and provision of guidance and direction on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
– Briefing and performance reporting to fill in during the transition period at a branch level support to the Director General’s office
– Preparing a license renewal list, fee statements and renewal letters / emails
– Making copies of licenses for filing and sending to regional offices; mailing original to client; tracking processing times for reporting purposes
– Maintaining vehicle fleet from tracking and scheduling maintenance to taking vehicles for service appointments to suggesting methods for improvement on fleet administration
– Tracking payments; entering confirmation of payment into spreadsheet
– Copying and mailing inspection reports
Qualifications:
– Minimum of 3 years of project administration experience – required
– Minimum of 1 year of project administration experience within the federal government – may be required
– Secret clearance – required
– Valid driver’s license – required
– Bilingualism – asset
