Hours: Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, but flexibility a must.
Wage: $13.00 – $15.00/hour
Job Summary: Reporting to the Senior Manager of Operations, the Warehouse Associate will be responsible for the receiving goods, organizing shipments, picking orders and other warehouse-related tasks. This position is required to execute the following duties, possess the following skills and qualifications:
Duties/Responsibilities:
Receive, organize and verify accuracy of incoming shipments
Communicate any discrepancies in receiving
Follow up and communicate on status of backordered items
Sort and place materials on racks, shelves or bins according to pre-determined sequence
Pull and distribute stock in order to fill production requests
Pick, pack and prepare orders for shipping
Assist in putting together large orders for LTL or FTL shipping
Kitting of orders by predetermined instructions within deadlines provided
Maintain accurate inventory records through use of a computerized inventory system
Achieve the targets and job standards set out by manager
Keep work area clean and organized
Perform any reasonable request from Manager/ Supervisor
Skills and Job Requirements
Basic computer skills
Be punctual and reliable
Excellent time management skills, with ability to meet deadlines in a proactive manner
Able to multitask, prioritize and work in a fast paced environment
Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
Flexibility
Maintain a neat and professional appearance
Duties involve regular repetitive light, medium and heavy lifting
Display good customer service abilities
Detail orientated and strong organizational skills
Forklift certification preferred but not required
Qualifications
Minimum high school diploma required
Proficient in both written and spoken English
Warehouse work experience and Netsuite knowledge an asset
