Full-Time Forklift Operator in Mississauga
Job Description

Position Reports to: Shift Supervisor Position Description: Forklift operators are responsible for picking and preparing shipments, loading and unloading product. Schedule: Sunday – Thursday 23:30 – 8:00
Duties:
Ensure the accurate picking and preparation for outgoing shipments.
Route products to appropriate staging areas via lift truck operation.
Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records of shipment information
Ensure products shipped are in proper salable condition.
Operate warehouse equipment with care and control
Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
Assist in other warehouse functions as requested.
Working Conditions
Entitled to half hour lunch (unpaid) and two fifteen minute breaks
Physically demanding:
Standing for extended periods of time
Crouching, bending, kneeling often required
Handling products weighted up to 50lbs
May be required to work additional hours.
Employment Requirements
High school education or equivalence
Current Forklift Certification required
Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English
Attention to detail and accuracy of recorded information.
Ability to work effectively independently as well as part of a team
Comply with safety legislation as per the Ontario Health and Safety Act and company policy.
