The Parts Delivery Driver is responsible for providing a high level of customer service and accuracy in organizing daily activities for customer deliveries. The driver will ensure all efforts are made to support repeat business and customer satisfaction while keeping the warehouse clean, along with maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the company vehicles.
Responsibilities:
Shipping and Delivering
Perform local pickup and delivery tasks
Verify parcels for shipment
Prepare packages to be sent out according to information on the packing slip
Picking and Packing goods for shipment as per customers’ needs
Ensure goods are shipped and delivered in accordance with TEAM Truck Centres practices and customer requirements
Receiving
Receive packages to the warehouse, unpacking and verifying contents against appropriate documents.
Stocking Shelves
Stock shelves with received shipments, using the appropriate sorting/organization system and equipment, including forklifts
Additional Responsibilities
Ensure the warehouse is maintained in a clean and orderly fashion at all times.
Ensure the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
Perform additional duties as required
Requirements:
Valid G class drivers license
Previous experience in heavy duty or automotive parts/ service industry or related employment experience would be an asset
Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task is a MUST
High School Diploma or GED required
Fork Lift and Health & Safety training will be provided
Work/Schedule Details:
Full Time – 42.5 Hour Work Week
Compensation:
$14.00 – $14.50 hourly rate
