POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Parts Distribution Centre Supervisor,the Material Handler performs the physical tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Unload shipments, ensuring accurate quantities are received and record shortages, overages and damagesShip outbound orders, maintaining accuracy and productivity standardsAssist in loading and unloading of all trucks & trailersOperate counter balance, reach truck and order picker equipment (certification required)Pick and pack orders as specified by pick labels and packing slipsPrepare shipping labels and monitor loading of shipments with carrier staffProcess dealer parts orders through various shipping systemsEnsure product is staged in a neat, organized mannerIdentify inventory variances, determine issues and implement solutionsPerform realignment (move/relocation) within the distribution centre to ensure proper positioning base on product demand and sizeMaintain cleanliness throughout the Parts Distribution CentreFollow and promote all Health &Safetypolicies and procedures Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED COMPETENCIESMinimum 5 years of being awesomePrevious experience as a material handler is an asset Valid certification on forklift equipment is preferred Bilingual English/Korean verbal and written is an asset Able to safely operate material handling equipment Strong attention to detail and problem solving skillsMust be team oriented and customer service focusedSolid organization and time management skills
