Full-Time Forklift Operator in Ottawa
Job Description
Our East end client is looking for Warehouse Workers!
We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic people who thrive in a busy process oriented environment.
Responsibilities
* Shipping, receiving, order picking and assembly
* Pile various size boxes onto skids, ensuring neat, safe, and secure piles
* Repetitive moving and lifting varying in weight. Lifting cases weighing up to 40 lbs, and on occasion up to 60 lbs
* Operate an electric pallet jack and or forklift
* Loading and unloading trucks for shipments
* Various warehouse duties, as prescribed by the supervisor
Requirements
* Ability to work various and/or rotational shifts may be required
* Experience working in a warehouse setting
* Ability to stand for extended periods of time and being able to reach, climb, bend, twist and walk
* Experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift is considered an asset
* Must have steel toe boots
* Experience working in a warehouse
