Construction Labourer
With over 60 years of experience in the Alberta marketplace, Manpower specializes in matching great talent with great companies. In tandem with our client, a national construction company, Manpower is seeking a Construction Labourer, to fulfill a temporary contract in Sherwood Park, AB.
In this role you will be involved in every phase of the construction process and will be responsible for such things as equipment operation and maintenance, site preparation, and excavation. The Construction Labourer must perform all work to regulated organizational as well as provincial and federal standards and procedures and have the ability to adhere to the highest standards of safety.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Clean Drivers Abstract
* Valid Driver’s Licence
* Ability to pass Criminal Back Check
* Must pass Drug and Alcohol test upon orientation
* High school diploma or GED
* Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
* Previous experience in construction would be considered an asset
* Ability to work at high elevations and in confined spaces
* Physically fit; able to perform strenuous and repetitive tasks
Pre-employment Drug and Alcohol testing and post-accident testing are conditions of employment.
