What you can expect in a typical day:
We have an exciting opportunity for a safety focused individual looking to provide a meaningful and essential service to our Irving Energy customers. The driver helper works alongside drivers in delivering product to our residential and commercial customers. This individual will be responsible to assist with pre and post trip inspections, preparing the truck and fuel hose for dispensing product and delivering paperwork to the customers. Other duties are required including assisting drivers with daily shift report and all other required paperwork.
What you’ll need to succeed:
Working with the driver in delivering product to residential and commercial customers.
Assist with pre and post trip inspections.
Prepare the truck and fuel hose for dispensing of product.
Deliver paperwork to customers.
Assist with daily shift report and all required paperwork.
Other duties as required.
Travel
Travel is not a requirement for this position
Education and experience
High School or equivalent.
Basic mathematical skills would be an asset.
Ability to work well with others; good organization and communication skills; attention to detail and strong customer service skills are necessary.
Must have reliable transportation.
Strong safety focus required.
Very physically demanding work.
