Full-Time General Labourer in Toronto
Job Description
My client is looking for candidates to start ASAP. They are located at Rexdale and Martin Grove.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Perform binding operations, such as pressing, folding, and trimming on books and related articles
– Punches holes in material, using hand or machine punch or stapler
– Operate hand tools and equipment including hot-melt and fugitive gluing of commercial paperboard, along with inserting and tipping while folding/forming paperboard
-Removes printed material or finished products from machines
– Selects, load, and adjust workpieces and machine parts
– Moves controls to adjust and activate bindery machine to meet specifications.
– Feeds tabs and related articlesinto binding machines following specifications.
$11.00 per hour ; potential for increase base upon performance and experience
Pay Day:
Fridays – Weekly Pay!
Shift:
Day Shift
Mon – Thurs: 7:00 am – 4:15 pm
Fridays: 7:00 am – 12:00 pm
+ Overtime Hours Available!!
Requirements:
Must have at least 3-6 months experience performing general labour duties; manufacturing warehouse experience an asset
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
Must have strong attention to detail
Must have a positive attitude
