Job Description
101253014 sask ltd at 703-4625 tutor crt, Regina, SK S4W0E6, is presently seeking one short-haul Truck Driver O/A for Slinkemo Enterprises Ltd. Applicant to have work experience in Canadian Pacific (cp)container hauling. Truck driving of minimum one year. Class 1 license is required. Basic oral English will suffice. This is a 2 months Temporary full-time position with a chance of Permanent full-time after 2 months depending on performance.
Pay is 0.44/mile(experienced driver only) with an average of 440 miles a day or approx 7000 miles a month. Also, you will be paid for every drop you make at yard and at customer.
Mon-friday with weekends off. Home every evening.
Sub-contractors welcome.
Main Job duties will be:
– Drive and operate Tractor trailer
– Plan trip logistics and obtain required documentation for the trip.
– Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection of vehicle such as lights, brakes, tires, signals etc.
