A. Wesley Paving has provided commercial and residential paving services throughout Southern Ontario since 1957. Over the past 50 years, we’ve built our business by delivering competitively priced services designed to meet each client’s specific needs.
We are currently looking for an Asphalt Finish Raker Person to join our growing team!
Reporting directly to the Foreman – Asphalt Crew, the Asphalt Finish Raker Person will be responsible for preparing asphalt mix for rolling by raking the mix as it leaves the screed.
Additional responsibilities include:
Spreading asphalt efficiently while maintaining a good pace
Assist the screed operator with the distribution of asphalt
Use a variety of hand and power tools as well as operate equipment when needed
Follow and promote A. Wesley Paving’s safety program on the job site
Shovel excess asphalt and sweep up debris
Signal operators to ensure the safe and effective moving of construction and paving materials
Other road construction duties as required
Qualified candidates will possess:
A high school diploma or equivalent
A valid G drivers license
Minimum 2 years as an asphalt raker required
