Title of Position- Long Haul Truck Driver
Job Duties
Operate Company Equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Perform preventative maintenance check and pre trip inspections
Check freight prior to loading and unloading to ensure proper count and condition
Confirm bill of lading has accurate information
Clean and fuel equipment
Communicate with customers in a professional manner
Report any damages or accidents as per Company Policy
Follow procedures when hauling Dangerous Goods
Assist in loading non palletized loads when required
Complete log books and trip sheets accurately
Verify dispatch
Ensure loads are secured
Perform hooks and unhooks
Adhere to all highway traffic board regulations and safety and traffic laws
Adhere to Company P
