Full-Time Construction Labourer And Helper in Vancouver
Job Description
National Job Agency is currently looking for Construction General Labourers for one of our client.
Job responsibilities:
? Able to take measurements
? Able to read blueprints
? Prepare, cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines and power saws.
? Load, unload or identify building materials, machinery or tools , distributing them to appropriate locations, according to the plans or specifications
? Clean and prepare plant sites to eliminate possible hazards
? Follow established safety rules and regulations
Requirements:
? Some experience in construction
? Physically fit is an asset
? Able to lift up to 50 lbs
? Able to lift, push, pull and carry objects repetitively
? Must possess manual dexterity
? Punctual and reliable with strong work ethic
? Must have own PPE ( certified steel toe boots, hard hat, vest and glasses)
? Own basic tools ( hammer, pencil, tape measure, utility knife, square, nail bar, chalk line ) and pouch preferable
? Valid driving licence
? Willing to do overtime when needed
? Previous work references and criminal check may be required
Working hours:
Monday – Friday: 7 am- 4 pm (1 hour unpaid brake) with possible overtime
Wage:
$ 14/ hour
