Job Description
PART TIME DELIVERY DRIVER
Universal Truck and Trailer is Atlantic Canada’s largest heavy duty truck and trailer dealership featuring the most up-to-date dealer service bays in Southern New Brunswick. We are an authorized sales, service, parts & warranty dealership for premium products including Freightliner and Western Star. In addition, we service all makes and models for class 6, 7 and 8 vehicles, including luxury class RV’s.
We focus on delighting our customers through continuously developing our team.
We currently have an opening at our Saint John Parts location for a Part Time Delivery Driver.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Load and unload goods;
Sorting package;
Assist with picking parts;
Transport and handle dangerous goods;
Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle;
Maintain daily vehicle logs;
Ability to communicate effectively;
Foster a safe work environment.
Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License and a clean driver’s abstract with no driving complaints;
Must be able to lift 50 lbs;
Delivery experience is an asset;
Warehouse experience is an asset;
Good time-management and organizational skills;
Passion for customer service;
Good listener;
Enjoys working on a winning team.
