Full-Time Delivery Driver in Toronto
Job Description
Maintain equipment and report any damages, necessary repairs or malfunctions
Ensure merchandise loaded in vehicle is stowed in a safe and damage-free manner
Pick-up and delivery of various items and products to and from customers homes and Sobeys Store locations
Load and unload goods
Assembly of product as required
Collect and/or make payments for goods
Plan travel schedules and routes, use maps
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Successful completion of Grade 12
Home delivery / general delivery experience
Must have general labour, mechanical and/or relevant electrical experience
Must have a valid drivers license
Must be bondable and have a clean driving abstract
Ability to lift large items – up to 60lbs
WHMIS and Emergency First Aid training preferred.
Professionalism in Customer Service
Must have good oral communication, decision making, and critical thinking, job task planning and organizing
