Delivery Drivers – Casual On-call
Vancouver, BC
We are looking for experienced Delivery Drivers to work on a casual on-call basis
Note: this is a casual on-call job, NOT a part-time or full-time job.
Ideal for someone looking for extra income
* Valid driver’s license with 5 years driving experience and a “clean” drivers abstract.
* Proven ability to operate a motor vehicle within a defined geographical area (including both urban and non-urban areas) in all weather conditions.
* Strong orientation to safety, with a demonstrated commitment to the principles of defensive driving.
* Experience as a Delivery Driver in a time-sensitive, customer interfacing environment preferred.
* Able to provide accurate on time delivery to multiple retail locations.
* Experience or comfortable using an on-board GPS navigation system.
* Able to lift 50lbs on a frequent basis.
* Ability to represent a professional, knowledgeable and friendly customer service approach when dealing with customers.
* Comfortable with being directly involved in a fast paced environment.
* Well organized and capable of working with minimal supervision.
* Able to work independently following company procedures and policies.
Job Type: Casual
Salary: $18.00 /hour
