Full-Time Delivery Drivers Foreman/woman in Ottawa

We are currently seeking a driver for our delivery team located at 1680 Vimont Court in Orleans, Ontario. This is for a full time position., starting pay rate of $17.00 per hour. Overtime is paid after 44 worked hours per week. Please note that some weeks and different periods of the year may be slower or busier than others (less than 44 hours per week or more than 44 hours per week). Work weeks are from Tuesday through Saturday weekly. Please note that you may be asked to work the odd Monday as needed. Dufresne offers and excellent single or family Benefit Package which is offered after the three month probation period has been completed. JOB REQUIREMENTS: must be at least 25 years of age. must have a valid class G license. must be able to provide a clean drivers abstract. must be able to provide a criminal record check. must have basic knowledge of furniture assembly and installation procedures. must have your own basic tools (drill, bits, sockets, plyers, etc…) must be available to work some long days as needed. must be available to work during the evenings (after 5pm deliveries). must be physically fit, able to lift and carry heavy furniture and appliances. must be willing to work with little to no supervision. must be a team player. must have a clean appearance at all times and wear company uniforms (uniforms are available after the three month probation period and Dufresne will cover 50% of the cost). responsible for the morning inspection of the delivery truck. in charge of all paperwork, product being delivered and customer signatures. help the delivery swamper with product and garbage in the back of the truck. make sure that all products are properly wrapped and strapped (secured) in the back of the truck. in charge of the company phone during business hours, calling customers and available to receive phone calls from management.
