Position Summary
?The Pharmacy Facility Worker & Driver plays a key role in the day to day functions at our Fulfillment Centre. They assist with basic administration work, help receive inventory and ensure the pharmacy staff is supported in their daily functions. This role requires 40-50% travel in the Lethbridge area to deliver medications as a customer care delivery specialist.
?Your Day To Day?
Adhere to all applicable policies, standards and procedures
Receive inventory?
Provide basic administrative support to pharmacy staff
Ensure facility is operating at it’s fullest potential
Ensure delivery deadlines are met
Sorts packages and other materials and supplies for the purpose of distributing items to assigned sites and/or individuals
Protect the contents of their vehicles and deliverables at all times in accordance with ACP policies and company policy
Deliveries will include but are not restricted to deliveries to residential homes, condos, senior apartment residences and senior facilities.?
Drivers must be able to perform various administrative duties such as giving out invoices, filing in forms and getting signatures from customers.??
Responsible for loading, unloading, preparing, cleaning, and operating a vehicle for delivery duties.
Receive names and signatures for all deliveries
Return delivery sheets complete and legible daily
Notify Pharmacy Manager immediately of any incidents, discrepancy or confusion regarding delivery
Drive vehicle in a safe manner at all times, such as maintaining speed limit.
Keep vehicle clean inside and outside at all times
Keep record of vehicle maintenance on company supply record sheet and report maintenance requirements in writing to the Delivery and Maintenance Supervisor to arrange for repair
Record in logbook, mileage and fuel purchases
Keep shipping area clear of garbage, boxes, empty medication bottles, returnable beverage containers
Assistance with facility maintenance and general duties
Make deliveries to clients at various facilities and homes in a timely fashion and in accordance with the Policy and Procedures of Delivery SpecialistsWhat You Bring To The Team?

Valid Class 5 or above Operator’s(Drivers) license
Clean Criminal Record and Driving record
Perform basic math; read and follow instructions; and understand multi-step written and oral instructions
Interest in pursuing a career in pharmacy
Experience in a pharmacy an asset but not required
High School Diploma or equivalent education
Strong customer service skills
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Must be organized, efficient and able to work independently, energetic, ambitious with a commitment to excellence.
