Full-Time Driver, transport in Mississauga
Job Description
EXPERIENCE Preferred but can be trained.
– Approximately half the job is doing Ice resurfacing with a Zamboni
– Participating in keeping all areas of the facility neat and tidy as well as safe at all times
– Required working shifts, including weekend shifts. Majority of shifts will be weekday close, 3pm to approx midnight.
– Familiarity with all aspects of facility operations and maintenance in addition to ice making, ice maintenance and repair preferred but not essential.
– Completing all log reports as required.
– Performing some maintenance jobs, such as changing lights, basic repairs, etc.
– Provide quality customer service.
– Ice resurfacing, ice maintenance, custodial work, ice plant and compressor log readings
– Preference to persons with a valid Class Refrigeration Operators Certificate
– Must have a valid class driver’s license
– Mechanical aptitude an asset.
– Good communication skills.
– Training and operation of ice resurfacing equipment preferred.
– Police background check and clearance will be required
