Our client located at Jane & Steeles is looking for experienced, licensed AZ and/or DZ Drivers to work as Shunt Drivers on the overnight shift .
Do you have an AZ or DZ license with experience shunting trailers in a fast paced environment? Comfortable reversing into tight spaces and looking for a full-time opportunity? Then, Shunt Drivers look no further!
Job Descriptions:
Shunt Driver
* Operate loading devices to load/unload materials onto and off trucks; loading docks
* Sort freight, preload and load balancing, and shunt trailers
* General warehouse support as needed
Requirements:
* A valid AZ or DZ license with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience with a clear driver’s abstract that is 30 days current
* A minimum of 6 months’ experience shunting trailers in a fast-paced environment
* Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
* Must have no criminal record – Criminal background checks will be conducted at the time of registration
* Previous experience working on an overnight shift is an asset
Shift Available:
* Nights – Sunday to Thursday from 10:00pm to 6:00am
Pay:
* DZ Drivers – $17.91/hour
* AZ Drivers – $18.91/hour
These positions may lead to permanent work for the right candidate and require immediate starts.
