Full-Time Driver, Transport in Toronto
Job Description
Dynacare is looking for a Driver to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. Reporting to the Manager, Operations – Transportation, the driver is responsible for the Food run between the hospitals located in downtown Toronto. This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday-Thursday 8:00am-8:00pm . The Driver is accountable for:
Ensuring the food is picked up as scheduled and delivered to the hospitals
Ensuring the load is secured properly at the pick up and when delivering dirty soil.
The safety and security of the vehicle at all times
Acting as an ambassador of the company ensuring all interactions are courteous, informative and professional

This role may be for you if your career background includes:
Graduation from secondary school
A valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
1-3 years comercial driving experience
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Previous experience in driving a 5 tons truck an asset
Demonstrated ability to work independently and apply sound decision making principles
Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills required to succeed in a collaborative working environment
Demonstrated ability to self-manage and prioritize in a results driven environment
