Class 5 Examiner
(20 seasonal positions available at various Winnipeg locations)
As a seasonal Class 5 Examiner, you will be responsible for administering road tests during the peak driver testing period of May through September.
Responsibilities
Conduct and document Class 5 road tests.
Explain test results to applicants, and discuss corrective measures and safe driving practices.
Issue licences and process driver licensing documents.
Check the driver and vehicle licensing and inter-provincial systems to determine eligibility and explain any departmental requirements.
Education and experience
High school graduation and relevant customer service experience. Post-secondary education is preferred. Special skills
Three years with a full stage driver’s licence.
Acceptable driving record.
Flexible to work at various locations within Winnipeg.
Ability to handle conflict and criticism in a positive and professional manner
Excellent oral, interpersonal and decision making skills.
Demonstrated customer service skills and abilities.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and to exercise good judgment.
