Full-Time Explosives Packer in Mississauga
Job Description
Pay Rate $16.48
Schedule: 8 hour shifts, 5 of 7 days of the week. Must be available for weekend shifts. Overtime and on-calls may also be required.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABLILTIES:
To observe all safety rules/regulations and perform duties in a safe and efficient manner.
Receive daily work assignment from the Quality Control Inspector.
Visually inspect moving bottles for defects using an approved sample as a model.
Place acceptable bottles in appropriate shipping containers.
Create labels on a computer using SAP/MII.
Place non-conforming bottles in a “hold” in for further disposition.
Report all recurring non-conforming issues to the Quality Control Inspector and Machine Operator.
Place full shipping containers on pallet for removal from production area.
Completes NCR’s as necessary.
Is aware of and follows customer specific work instructions regarding packing.
Keeps assigned work area clean, neat, organized and free from safety hazards.
All other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED
Good communication skills.
Must be motivated and possess a high attention to detail.
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. on a frequent basis.
Strong verbal, and written communication skills
Self-starter, motivated and proactive
Must be able to work productively with minimum supervision
