Full-Time Forklift Operator in Burlington

Quadra Chemicals Ltd. is looking for an EXPERIENCED SHIPPER/RECEIVER/FORK LIFT OPERATOR for our Burlington ON facility. We are looking for someone who will work closely with many other departments to ensure our customers receive the right product at the right time; enjoys the physical aspect of working in a warehouse; has lots of forklift experience; is able to multi-task and can hit the ground running almost from Day 1. We are looking for an experienced candidate but we do provide full training on our systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Stock handling and inventory control | Order picking and preparation | Shipping and receiving of all products | Cycle inventory counting | Ensure paperwork is completed as per Company policies | Maintain warehouse cleanliness | Comply with all Health and Safety regulations | Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications / Requirements:
High school graduate certificate
1 to 3 years Crown and Raymond Reach Truck experience is a must
1 to 3 years of previous warehouse experience with understanding of shipping, receiving and inventory management processes
Able to meet the heavy physical effort of the job
Team player, self-motivated and the ability to handle pressure
Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
Assets
Previous certification in WHMIS/TDG
Computer literacy skills: Inventory Management Systems, JD Edwards
Prior experience in a Food or Pharmaceutical warehouse environment
