Lassonde Industries Inc. develops, manufactures and markets an innovative and distinctive line of fruit and vegetable juices and drinks as well as specialty food products such as fondue broths and sauces, soups, sauces and gravies, canned corn-on-the-cob, bruschetta toppings, tapenades, pestos and sauces for pasta and pizza. Lassonde Industries Inc. imports selected wines from several countries of origin for packaging and marketing purposes. It also imports and markets olive oil. Nearly 1,300 employees contribute to the Company’s growth and to offering customers quality products.

Responsibilities
Manually load pallets with product from line
Sort product
Maintain a safe and orderly storage arrangement for all items handled by forklift driver
Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas
Maintain logs of work performed as required
Perform all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner
Follow the direction of lead hands or supervisors
Report any health and safety work issues to lead hands or supervisors
Light housekeeping duties
Operate Raymond Reach and Counterbalance forklift in a safe and orderly manner, training will be provided
Receive incoming materials and stores material in its designated area according to established system Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent GED is required
Current Forklift Driving experience a definite asset
One to two years experience in a similar capacity
Must be able to lift/carry 10 lbs constantly for 8-10 hours a day
Must be able to push/pull up to 20x lbs frequently
Must be able to perform constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping
Must be able to work shifts and overtime as required
