-Operate a chemical production unit in safe and efficient manner as per assigned operating manuals and procedures.
-Carry out the loading and unloading of raw materials and finished goods.
-Other duties as assigned.EXPERIENCE: In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you will have:
-LIFT TRUCK experience and BATCH experience would be an asset.
-Experience loading and unloading tanker trucks and railcars.COMPENSATION:
$20/per hour.EDUCATION:
College/University level – Chemistry preferred.QUALIFICATIONS:
-Physically able and capable to lift and dump bags/containers weighing 25 kg.
-Possess excellent English communication skills. Strong reading, writing and verbal communication skills.
-Strong interpersonal skills.
-Ability to prioritize.
-Batching or continuous processing experience an asset.
-Basic Chemical knowledge an asset.
-Basic mathematical skills to carry out batch calculations and tank volumes.
-Interpreting and processing all documentation associated with production formulas and plant operations.
-Demonstrated problem-solving skills, taking initiative, basic hand tools use, and working safely.
-Ability to learn new skills and willingness to be flexible and multitask.
-Operate a forklift truck.
-Knowledge of SDS, use of PPE and following GMP guidelines.
-Willingness to work shifts.EMPLOYMENT TYPE:
