Full-Time Forklift Operator in Ottawa
Job Description
We are currently hiring an experienced Forklift Operator for 6 month contract work in the east end of the city. This is a position has the possibility for long term permanent placement
Job Duties include:
– Safe operation of Propane powered counterbalance Forklift
– Ship and receive product
– Verification of POs
– Basic inventory controls and stock warehouse
– Arrange product transport to meet tight deadlines
– Filing and maintaining own paperwork
– General warehouse work and clean up
-Assisting in production and assembly duties

Qualifications
– current forklift certificate
– min 1 year Shipping and Receiving experience
– Experience in a warehouse environment
– Prove stability in past employment
– Are able to work on your feet for up to 8 hours and be able to lift up to 50 lbs
– You have CSA approved steel toe shoes or boots
