General Labour: Material HandlerKelly Services – Markham, ON (14th and Birchmount)
Our client is currently looking for a dedicated and hardworking individual to work at their warehouse.
Material Handler
– package products & prepare for shipping
– using a hand held scanner to scan bar codes on products and input into the internal system
– lifting/moving/labeling (up to 25lbs by themselves or 40lbs with help)
– receiving new packaged products/parts
– sorting appropriately, to be stored on the shelves
– lots of moving around/lifting/bending/twisting & using a pump truck to move products between areas
Shift: Days/Afternoon Shift (This project requires 7 day availability)
**Potential for Overtime**
Length of Assignment: 3-4 weeks with potential for extension
MUST have safety shoes
Location – 14th Ave. Markham, North of Steeles (If using the TTC please note you will have to pay an extra fair in order to reach this location)
PAY RATE: $13.50/hr + 4% vacation paid weekly
Requirements:
-Shipping/Receiving experience (1-2 years working in a warehouse environment)
-Computer literate
-Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
-Ability to work in a fast pace environment
