Essential Functions:
Prepares items for shipment by identifying and comparing necessary manifests, invoices, or other records
Receives and unloads merchandise from incoming freight in a timely manner
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
Participates in verifying and keeping records for site and inventory audit
Label all work orders and back stock clearly
Document amounts of product received and distributed via the use of automated systems
Performs minor maintenance to company equipment and warehouse as necessary
Pull and stage product for independent contractors in designated areas
Proper use of equipment, including but not limited to pallet jacks, to move inventory in warehouse
Inspect equipment to maintain good working order
Performs other duties and assignments as required
$13 per hour
Shift: 2pm-12am
Location: 3275 Argentia Rd, Mississauga, ON L5N 0B1
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must have a minimum of 1-2 years material handling experience.
Moderate P.C. Skills.
Must have effective communication skills with a diverse range of individuals.
The ability to work under pressure, to meet deadlines, and be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously.
Must also have the ability to manually move and lift 50 lbs regularly.
Ability to perform essential job responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
