The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Class 1 Driver to join our team in Clairmont, AB on a full time permanent basis. This position is responsible for the transportation of rental equipment and non-hazardous/hazardous waste from a client site to our Clean Harbors facility or outside disposal facility. Candidates must be willing and able to complete both short and long haul driving throughout North West Alberta and North East British Columbia.
Key responsibilities:
Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
Driving and operating one or more of the following units: winch truck, roll-off, bed truck, end-dump and/or lugger units;
Completing the proper documentation for the job using handheld units and/or paper documenting techniques, including pre/post trips;
Completing minor vehicle maintenance;
Maintaining the cleanliness of the unit;
Providing high levels of customer service to our client base.
Key qualifications:
Class 1 license with a clean 5-year driver’s abstract;
2-3 years of previous Class 1 driving experience;
Basic to intermediate computer skills;
Previous experience operating winch trucks, end-dumps, roll-offs and bed trucks.
