Full-Time Handler, Materials in Guelph
Job Description
Our client in the Guelph area is hiring material handlers to join their team on a contract basis.
These emplopyees will be driving double wide forklifts – feeding the production line with material and removing materials from the ends of the line. scanning production, receiving product. 75% of time on Forklift, 25% of time off forklift (doing roll changes, adjustments, fixing issues with the palletizer).
Qualifications
1. 2 years experience with forklift (recent) – need to be comfortable on a forklift and understand how it works.
2. Experience feeding a fast paced production line (understand how it works and able to keep up to speed) OR experience in a manufacturing facility. It is very fast paced and need experience in such a place
3. Computer skills – comfotable scanning product, printing off tags, entering in product information
Pay is based on experience up to $16/hr
