Job Description
Educational level : Attestation of Vocational Specialization (AVS), Électromécanique Completed Years of experience related to the job offer :1 to 2 years experience Description of qualifications : Mechanical and electrical work experience in a manufacturing environment. / Technical specialized training (considered an asset). / Read mechanical and electrical plans. / Organized, versatile, resourceful, possess a good capacity to manage stress, team work and be in good physical condition (lift up to 50lbs).
Languages asked for : spoken languages : French and English written languages : French and English Salary offered : according to experience of : 16,00$ to : 21,00$ – per hour Number of hours per week : 40,00 Various terms : Working hours: 7:30AM – 4:00PM (be available for overtime if needed). Group insurance offered after one year of continued service which includes an employee assistance program. Security boots are mandatory. Posess a minimum of tools (screwdriver, hammer, measuring tape and exacto knife).
Job status : permanent full time day Job start date : 2016-05-16Under supervision, the electrical mechanical assembler is responsible for installing all electrical and mechanical components to signs and bus shelters. / Read and interpret electrical plans, mechanical assembly plans. / Install subsets, electrical panels BX / TECK cables, conduit and junction boxes on the structures of bus shelters and signs. / Connect the electrical wires according to patterns of electricity or control. / Test the connection of electrical panels, control panels and cables. Assemble the signs and bus shelters using materials such as glass, lexan, aluminium extrusions, foam joints etc. / Manipulate various manual, mechanical, electrical and pneumatic tools. / Manually move various assembly structures or with an overhead crane. / Maintain tools and keep your working environment clean and functional. / Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. / Respect quality standards. / Inform your immediate supervisor of any problems arising during your work. / Perform all other related tasks.
