Full-Time Operator, Forklift in Windsor
Job Description
We are looking for a courier driver. As a courier driver, you demonstrate enthusiasm while delivering positive, professional and courteous customer service to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Daily dedicated courier routes
Additional opportunities to increase revenue with Urgent or Hotshot deliveries
Route and schedule deliveries
Inspect and load product
Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle
Lift and carry products into customers’ locations
Document delivery status
Record information such as mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered
Complete driver check-in, including proper accounting of merchandise and invoicing
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Valid drivers license
Current drivers abstract
SKILLS REQUIRED
· Proven customer service skills
· Strong oral communication skills, in particular, telephone
· Good written communication skills
· Knowledge of company policies/procedure
· Knowledge of vehicle transportation
· Good interpersonal skills to deal effectively with team members and others within the organization
· Ability to reflect a professional company image
Ability to lift and carry heavy merchandise exceeding 50 lbs on a regular basis
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 1 year experience in the courier/delivery industry or related experience is an asset
MEASURABLE STANDARDS
Customer satisfaction levels (internal and external)
Ability to achieve service level agreements
Maintain good rapport with dispatch team
Attendance/punctuality
