The Saskatoon Housing Authority (SHA) is currently
seeking an energetic individual to join our team
as Snow Removal Groundskeeper. The successful
candidate will be responsible for all aspects of
snow removal at various scattered Family
properties, while complying with applicable
Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
– Spread sand or salt on sidewalks for snow and
ice control
– Remove snow and ice from sidewalks
– Maintain positive relations with tenants, SHA
staff, and general public
– Other duties, as assigned (cleaning, deliveries
etc.)
Minimum Qualifications
– Grade 12 or equivalent
– Reliable and physically fit
– Ability to use a shovel and operate snow
blowers, snow sweepers, and back pack blowers
– Valid Driver’s License
– Current Driver’s Abstract and Criminal Record
Check
– Must be willing to work according to snow fall
requirements (weekends, early mornings, evenings)
– Must pass functionality test
