Key Delivery Responsibilities:

Responsible for receiving, loading and unloading trailers, picking orders, restocking product and shipping with the use of a hand and mechanical trucks
Ensures customer orders are completed
Accountable for productivity and efficiencies of warehouse operations
Ensures all orders are picked and ready for shipment in a safe and timely manner; reports any exceptions to stakeholders
Optimizes the use of warehouse resources to meet customer shipping requirements
Ensures efficient operations are maintained by optimizing availability of efficient and safe equipment, identifying process improvement opportunities, etc.
Maintains a clean, organized and safe warehouse environment
Ensures timely delivery of all scheduled orders in a safe and efficient manner. Will also be required to complete vendor pickups and second run deliveries as assigned. Order fulfillment of Pipe, Valves and Fittings for commercial contractors.
Verifies with packing slips that the correct quantities of bags, crates, and bundles of pipe are on his/hers assigned truck
Ensures load is safely secured to truck and completes a safety circle check before leaving yard
Able to quickly and efficiently read road maps for directions to delivery sites
Must be certified to safely use crane boom on truck for unloading various sizes of pipe
Must report any safety/mechanical issues with the assigned truck to his or her supervisors immediately
Able to clearly communicate to customers on delivery sites and/or over mobile phones
Ensures the efficient and effective operation of receiving and shipping activities to meet customer needs
General Duties:

Successfully prioritize responsibilities
Follow all company policies and procedures
Follow all safety procedures of Crane Supply
Other duties as required/assigned including general housekeeping in truck and around shipping docksQualifications:

Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience
Valid Class 5 license with a clean driver abstract
Valid Counter Balance Forklift license (not mandatory, but preferred)
