Adecco, the leading HR solutions company, is currently recruiting for a Transportation Refrigeration Technician Job in Saskatoon, SK. Our client is one of western Canadas most reputable refrigeration and heating unit manufacturers companies. In this position you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing and repairing transport climate control equipment.
The ideal candidate will have experience servicing transport refrigeration vehicles, diesel trucks, or other heavy equipment and will be able to work independently. Certification as a Transportation Refrigeration Technician or equivalent would be ideal.
Responsibilities for Transportation Refrigeration Technician the will include;
– Diagnose and repair transport climate control equipment (truck, trailer, rail container)
– Complete pre trip inspections on equipment, in accordance with customers specific requirements
– Provide estimates on repairs
– Participate in manufactures training to remain up to date on the latest equipment
– Communicate information regarding equipment availability and status to the customer at various levels
– Be on call after hours when required
Qualifications Required:
– Working knowledge of transport refrigeration vehicles, diesel trucks, and other heavy equipment
– Certification as a Transportation Refrigeration Technician or equivalent
– Proven communication and interpersonal skills
– Strong language skills, oral and written
– Must be organized and able to multitask at all times
– Able to provide superior customer service
– Able to work on an on call basis when required
– Must have valid Drivers License
