The Markham DFSIN financial centre is searching for an office administrator that is Mutual Fund licensed. In this role, you will be responsible for various functions. Having an eye for detail and being mindful of follow-up would be valuable qualities at our centre.
Primary Responsibilities:
Processing of mutual funds transaction
Receive and transfer telephone inquiries
Maintain filing, inventory, mailing and database systems
Sort, process and verify applications, receipts and other documents
Open, sort and route incoming mail; including couriers
Scanning of dealer files
Respond to client and advisor inquiries
Perform general clerical duties
Assist in specific projects as required
Qualifications
Minimum 2 year experience in administration
Mutual Fund Licensed
Solid oral and written communication skills; a pleasant manner
Attention to detail and good with numbers
Organized but flexible to take on a new task of greater priority
Self-directed and able to complete task with limited supervision
Maintain staff and client confidentiality
Working knowledge of MicrosoftWord, Excel, PowerPoint
Previous experience in working with Univeris
Financial Services/Investment Industry experience an asset
Able to maintain and improve administrative processes
