Independent Parts Warehouse
Main Duties
Duties are as follows:Receive incoming products, verify packing slips, and shelve goods in an appropriate fashionEnsure all items are logged into inventory management system (JMS)Lift and move products as they are received – must be in good healthOperate pump-truck to move skids and product around warehouseResponsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in the facility – perform warehouse maintenance tasks, e.g. assemble shelves, sweeping floors, dusting stock and shelves, putting out the garbageReceive orders from customers by phone, fax, email, internet, or in personProcess orders through inventory management program and insure all shipments are ready in a timely manner for daily pickups from courier and freight companiesResolve work-related issues as they arise with shipments and products
Skills:Customer serviceWorks well with othersCommunication (Verbal and written. Fluent in English, French as asset)Computer skills (Word required, Excel an asset)Organization and time managementSelf-motivatedKnowledge of auto parts, part sales, and distribution an assetCalm but works with a sense of urgency when necessary
Hours of Work: 8 am to 5 pm Monday thru Friday – 1/2 hour lunch
Other requirements: High School diploma preferredSafety shoes provided after 90 days
Salary:$14:00 – $20.00 (based on experience)Pay period is bi-weekly – no hold-backExtended health care and pension plan after 90 daysOpportunity for advancement with an established national company
