SUMAMARY
The role of Maintenance General Labor is to support the Engineering Department in completion of required projects, and daily operations of the Engineering Department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITY
To work with and assist the colleagues in the Engineering Department. To maintain the hotel in peak operating capacity and maintain standards of product quality as set forth by Delta Hotels & Resorts. To adhere to all Delta Hotels & Resorts policies and procedures.
Reporting to the Chief Engineer and the Engineering Supervisor the Maintenance General Labor is responsible to:
- Complete all projects assigned in a timely, efficient manner
- Providing prompt and/or immediate response to maintenance requests from our guests and our team members
- Work closely with the engineering team to discuss maintenance needs and guest complaints/suggestions concerning engineering department
- Maintaining standards of product quality through reporting of deficiencies and making recommendations for correction action required
- Complies with the standards of the Manitoba Building Code
- Safety conscious and actively involved in maintaining a safe work environment
- Assists with assigned duties in the Engineering Department
- To adhere to companies environmental and community policies
